Our Team

Carolina is from Irvine in Southern California and is currently in the Bioengineering PhD program at Stanford University. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a BS in Bioengineering in 2019, and it was in the Streets lab at UC Berkeley where she discovered an interest in exploring the complex regulatory system of the genome. She now aims to develop tools to better understand chromatin and gene regulation dynamics.
While not in lab, Carolina loves to learn kpop dances, listen to music (Spanish pop is her favorite), watch movies, try new desserts & ice cream, and cheer on her favorite soccer team, FC Barcelona!
